trend in some ways. Technology keeps on getting improved and when there is
development in the work I do there is more chance of my knowledge and financial
development. So, whether being an investor, owner or a manager working for a
business I would like to get associated with business which is engaged in
e-commerce on the internet.

that you identified, what strategies adequate to face them.
Keeping the
copyright power of and managing the control in such a way that in case of any

strict provision also discourages the users to do so and organization can be
little assured about any worrying issues regarding the use of their brand name.
They can also have the facility through internet to reach every thing and
article over the internet that uses their data and information’s along with

There have been so
many failures among dot com companies probably because of following things:

Success of
e-commerce depends upon how comfortable you could make your customer to visit
your website and make transaction through it. In order to make this happen it’s
important to make the proper selection of the products that we offer and its
value. As mention in the figure it’s also important to look after the
performance and service factors. Look and feel of the website, Advertising and
incentives, Personal attention to customers, Community relationships follows
security and reliability of the e-commerce web store.
But doing all this
as well it’s not guaranteed that website would be successful because there is
guarantee to nothing. Things could go wrong in a second because off possible
changes and everything may ruin.
6) If personalizing a customers Web site experience is a key success

necessary. Do you agree or disagree with this statement? Explain your position.
In order to
personalize a costumer’s website experience first we need to have proper
information’s and knowledge about what are the taste and preference of
customers. If we know that in what kind of items our customer is interested and
what exactly are they searching for in the website it becomes easy to work to
develop our website as per that resulting in encouragement to buy and return
for the buying.
In order to know
about costumer’s searching patterns its necessary to implement electronic
profiling process to track visitor website behavior. Because without that it’s
not possible to find out what is our customer looking at. So I completely agree
with the statement, that if personalizing a customer’s website experience is a
key success then electronic profiling process to track visitor web site

auction marketplaces instead of using B2B websites that feature fixed price
catalogue or negotiated price. Explain your position in this proposal.
Auction is a very
beneficial element for the customers who want good products in comparatively in
very low price. E-commerce marketplace makes the user easy to participate the
process and make best deals because there number of sellers competes to sell their
products in lowest possible price. Rather than negotiating with seller or going
for fixed price shopping websites it’s always good to search out for the
auction marketplace because it costs less, we can also have variety of choices
and its easy as well as convenient.

chapter. Assume you are starting a Web based business. Are any economic,
business or societal developments occurring that are being overlooked as new

web based business.
It’s not always
guaranteed that second mover strategy always woks with everybody. Although it
does have some benefits of being in the position to observe everything clearly
and closely so that adjustments and corrections of the move we are planning to
take could be made. Second mover enjoys the lesser risks but we also cannot say
that second mover ha higher profitability rates. Because second mover is
neglected most of the times because first mover makes its impact in peoples
attitude.
The technology is
developing so fast that if you wait to become second then there is the chance
that you arrive last in the market. Social and economic development has
emphasized on developments and innovations so rather than being second mover I
would like to start my own type of business learning from mistakes of those
companies which fail to move forward and knowing the strengths of the companies
which are doing good in the industry.
9) If you are starting an e-commerce Web store, which of the business
requirements summarized in the figure 9.13 would you primarily do yourself, and
which would you outsource to a web development or hosting company? Why?
If I am starting an
e-commerce Web store I would first need to develop or build my website using
website design tools, site design templates and custom design service. After
that I would search out for the hosting company who would host my company as
well as make adjustments and upgrade it with time. When my website will be on
the web then I would focus on strengthen its value by doing marketing through
web page advertising, e-mail promotions and search engine registration. Only
development is not a big deal proper maintenance is requiring updating the site
and making it worth visiting. So I would appoint a web analyst who would take
care about all the tasks relating to management of web store such as sales
reports, inventory reports, customer account management etc. Protection would
also be my major concern because after all this effort I would not want my
efforts to be wasted by hackers and other insecure sources.
Web-store website
is the mirror of my organization it needs to look well managed and taken care
of; it should also look attractive and easy to use. Personally I don’t have
much knowledge about doing so, so I would call up a meeting and ask everybody
to comment on how it should look like and what kind of format will look and
perform better and as per the discussion I would go for the decision to develop
website and for hosting I would go to third party.
